Limited Product Warranty

Effective for new orders after adoption; draft dated November 3, 2026.

Who is covered

American Designer Furniture (“ADF”) provides this limited warranty to the original purchaser of an ADF-manufactured product, subject to the applicable written sales agreement and proof of purchase. This warranty is not transferable unless ADF agrees in writing.

Five-year structural frame warranty

For five (5) years from delivery, ADF warrants that frames manufactured by ADF will be free from defects in materials and manufacturing workmanship that cause structural failure under normal intended use.

One-year upholstery workmanship warranty

For one (1) year from delivery, ADF warrants the workmanship of upholstery performed by ADF against manufacturing defects, including defects in stitching, seams, or upholstery installation attributable to ADF. This coverage does not guarantee the performance of the upholstery fabric or other covering material.

Materials and finishes not covered

Customer’s Own Material (COM), including fabric, leather, vinyl, or other coverings supplied or specified by the customer, is not warranted by ADF. ADF provides no warranty on finishes, including stains, paints, lacquers, coatings, and finish appearance or performance. Any manufacturer warranty from a third-party material supplier, if available, is separate and subject to that supplier’s terms.

Exclusions

Coverage does not include normal wear and tear; fading, pilling, stretching, staining, abrasion, or cleaning damage; misuse, abuse, accidental damage, improper installation, modification, or unauthorized repair; damage from moisture, humidity, temperature, sunlight, chemicals, or unsuitable maintenance; or use outside the product’s intended commercial or residential application.

Making a claim

Email sales@designersfurnituremfg.com with the original invoice or purchase order, delivery date, photographs, a description of the issue, and reasonable access for inspection. ADF may request additional information or inspection before determining coverage.

Remedy

For a verified covered defect, ADF will, at its discretion and as permitted by law, repair the affected component, replace it with a reasonably comparable component, or provide another mutually agreed remedy. Transportation, removal, reinstallation, site access, and incidental expenses are excluded unless separately agreed in writing, to the extent permitted by law.

Legal rights

This limited warranty is in addition to any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any limitations of implied warranties or damages must be addressed in the applicable sales agreement and only to the extent legally permitted.
